ORIGIN: Hello world! I am Samantha, though most people call me Sammy or just Sam. I have been doing art for about as long as I can remember. I've always enjoyed drawing and have been artistic since I was very young, much to my Asian mother and military father's dismay.CURRENT: I am currently a college student studying to pursue Pharmacology! I have two crusty dogs and work under a couple different teams for several verrrry exciting projects.FUTURE: Obviously, I'm studying Pharmacology to become a Pharmacist, lol. Fear. I imagine myself in the shoes of someone who never tried. Turned down opportunities because he was too lazy or thought he didn't deserve it. Hid from failure out of sheer fear. I fear that one day I could become like him. Living in my dad's basement. No job, no progress put towards skill-honing, no hopes for my future. All my passion and labor over the course of years and only having nothing to show for it because I was too scared to ever try. In short: I fear being controlled by fear. I may over-correct myself too often, though. I do have a lot of projects that should probably go in the bin.
Art
I draw in 3 main styles, which you can see in order below. I have lineless photo edits, like my Tim Sutton edit. There's a chibi style, like the middle doodle of my avatar, and my cartoon style, like the character design sheet for my Call of Duty fan-character, Tank.
Writing
I write mostly self-insert fanfictions and I am not ashamed to admit it. You can see my work on Ao3 and Wattpad. Here's just a snippet of a story I have posted:
"He wants to tear Jaques to pieces. Shatter that stupid bottle with one of his 20 acrylic sides. He wanted you to use him to shatter that stupid ship in a bottle. He's not one for actual violence, normally. He has always been one to simply detail acts of fiction. Chance was always a story-teller; never an enactor. But he wants Jaques gone. To an extent, he wants Chairemi to back off, too."

Projects
Currently, I am not working on my own visual projects. I am mostly focusing on honing my writing to prepare for college.
I am a showrunner for an animated show with fellow artist Sebastian where I am the sole writer and main creative head. The show, Crunch, is currently underway right now! The pilot is already out! More episodes are on their wayCrunch is about a young woman, Terra Asher, who struggles to ask for help. This defiance to accept help is starting to wreck her health and relationships with her mother, Jane Asher, and only friend, Jerald "Jip" Cantous. Through the series, she learns to open up and let people help her.To the left was my suggestion for designs after I had pitched the show and made a plan for the series. The the right of that is Sebastian's official designs for the characters.
